Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Lou Ottens, who died today at the age of 94. Among his many contributions, Lou invented the cassette tape and later laid the foundation for the compact disc. Our lives (and our logo) would be very different, if not for him. May he rest in peace, knowing that his life’s work affected so many, in so many ways.
